Found It!

The thing that made that first batch of Christmas cookies so bad - expired shortening!  Two cans of it! One was 2 years old, the other was 3 years old - ACK!

Did you know that it has expiration dates? They're on the bottom of the can or on the lip of the lid.  Another thing for caregivers to keep track of.
